Space Extension In Oil Painting Creation

The painting space is derived from the visual perception space,which is the image space that the artist expresses after watching and subjective thinking.This paper studies the visual and spiritual attributes of space in painting based on the analysis and learning of artists' expressions of the way things exist in space in different period.This paper is divided into three parts.The two different spatial concepts of reproducibility and expressiveness in the expression of painting space are explained in the first part,as well as the spatial expression in individual creation.In the second part,the author focuses on the extension of the painting space based on contemporary painting.In addition,on the basis of analyzing and learning the creation of contemporary artists,the author analyzes and interprets personnel oil painting creations.In the practice of painting,the author draws the following experiences on the spatial performance of oil painting creation:1?The expression of painting space is above individual viewing.2?The painting space is the artistic reproduction of the main body of painting after facing the visual object,and it is also the self-construction of the painter.3?The painting concept of the creative subject is based on the stimulation of all aspects.4?The expression of the spatial concept in painting works can be illustrated by painting language and materials.In the third part,the author explores the construction of painting space from the aspects of the spatiality of painting materials and the dynamics of materials in the expression of painting space,the space of display and the interaction of viewing.Through the analysis and interpretation of spatial understanding,artistic conception and artistic expression in oil painting creation,the author broadens his creative thinking and enriches the sense of form of creation.
