Study On Modal Particles In Chongqing Dialect

Modality is an important part of Chinese words and plays an important role in daily life communication.It is not only an effective means of conveying information but also an effective carrier for expressing emotions.China is a country with many dialects.Chongqing dialect is one of the representative dialects of the Chengyu area in the southwestern Mandarin.The modal system has its own characteristics.The article's research on the modal particle of Chongqing dialect is mainly carried out in a large number of example sentences on the synchronic plane,describing and summarizing the appearance of modal particles,and exploring its usage and function.The thesis is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction of Chongqing geography and language,the status quo of tone research,the object,purpose and method of this study;the second part is the general overview of Chongqing modal particle system;In part,the modal words in Chongqing dialect are divided into questions,imperatives,prohibitions,measures,consultations,statements,pauses and classifications.The fourth part discusses the usage of modal particles in Chongqing dialects,the position of modal particles,fixed matching and continuous use.The fifth part is about the function of the modal particle in Chongqing dialect,which mainly has the functions of transmitting and suspending,ending the sentence and text.The sixth part is a summary of the whole article,summarizing the characteristics of the modal particle in Chongqing dialect.
