Study On Theatre Anthropology Ideology Of Wang Shenghua

Wang Shenghua(1950-2008),Professor of Yunnan Arts university,is one of the representative figures in theatre anthropology in China.Wang Shenghua's anthropological Study of theatre is based on the national folk theatre in southwest China.Through the investigation and study of the original ecological national folk theatre performance,the origin and essence of Chinese theatre are re-examined,and the relationship between theatre and human society is explored.More than twenty years since 1987,Wang Shenghua had been devoting himself to the localization of theatre anthropology theory and has made important contributions to the construction and development of Chinese theatre anthropology.However,after consulting the relevant literature,the author finds that there are no monographs or papers on Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre in China.Wang Shenghua's anthropological Study of theatre has distinct characteristics in study object and method.Through studying his anthropological ideology of theatre,it can provide experience guidance for the development of Chinese Anthropology of theatre.Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre is the product of his unique learning experience,social academic background and the interaction between his strong individual thirst for knowledge and exploratory spirit.The purpose of this paper is to outline the development process of Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre,analyze the characteristics and contributions of his anthropological study of theatre,and objectively evaluate his anthropological study of theatre,so as to make up for the blank of academic research on Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre.The introduction part of this paper combs and discusses the reasons for the topic selection,Wang Shenghua's life and writings,the review of the research papers and the ways and methods of the research.The second part is the main part of this paper.The author divides Wang Shenghua's anthropological study of theatre into stagesaccording to his main research results and academic experience,so as to outline the construction and practice of Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre.In the third part,the author abstracts three important academic viewpoints of Wang Shenghua on theatre anthropology,and discriminates these viewpoints with relevant research at home and abroad.The fourth part mainly analyses the characteristics and contributions of Wang Shenghua's Anthropological Study of theatre.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes and evaluates Wang Shenghua's anthropological ideology of theatre.
