Research On Metonymy And Metaphor Of The Chinese "Hand" Vocabulary Group

At present,researches on human stylistic metaphor mainly focus on the comparative study of the two languages,focusing on the analysis of the commonness and individuality of metaphor,revealing the causes of the commonness and individuality,and further analyzing the characteristics of cognitive thinking.However,the current research rarely involves the cognitive path of human stylistic words,as well as the discussion on the influence and restriction of metonymy and metaphor of human stylistic words.Therefore,this paper selects the human body part--"hand",and analyzes and discusses the metonymy,metaphorical cognitive path,the influence and restriction of metonymy and metaphor of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group.From the overall grasp of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group metonymy,metaphor path characteristics,from the details of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group metonymy,metaphor influence and constraints.In order to have a deeper understanding of the metonymy and metaphor of the Chinese "hand",this paper is divided into five chapters,specifically as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly describes the origin and significance of this study,sorts out the research on " Body words ",especially the metaphorical research on the human body part "hand",and introduces the research object,corpus source,theoretical basis and research method of this paper.The second chapter aims to analyze the cognitive path of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group.According to experience of realism theory,metaphor and metonymy theory of cognitive psychology,cognitive,such the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group convertible as the "people" " methods and skill" "actions" "tools" "instruments" five classes,the result of "actions" into cross type chain shape,can be summed up as "people" take "means",by means of "tool" to "purpose" of "action".The metaphors of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group are divided into seven categories: "basic imagemetaphor","shape function metaphor","space metaphor","container metaphor","substance and entity metaphor","structure metaphor" and "relationship metaphor",which are radiating with increasing abstraction.The cognitive path of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group is interlocked and radiated.The third chapter analyzes the influence and restriction of the combination of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group on metonymy and metaphor of "hand" words.From the perspective of internal combination of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group,metonymy of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group is mainly subject to the word meaning of the whole word and another morpheme meaning combined with it.Metaphor is mainly subject to the similarity between two domains,which can be objective or subjective.From the perspective of external combination,it can be divided into two types.The first type is semantic analysis.Through the combination of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group of each metonymy and metaphor type and words with different categories of thesaurus and different grammatical properties,the influencing and restricting factors can be found out.For the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group that cannot find out the influencing and restricting factors from the combination of words,we adopt the second kind of pragmatic analysis,put them in sentences,and analyze the influencing and restricting factors through context.The forth chapter analyzes the characteristics of metonymy and metaphor of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group.One of the reasons for the linkage of metonymy of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group and the radiation of metaphor is that metonymy of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group usually refers to a specific domain,while metaphor refers to a specific domain and refers to different domains.The metonymy of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group emphasizes the functional features of "hand".The metaphor of the Chinese "hand" vocabulary group can be further integrated into four categories: "hand" as the source domain,"hand" as the target domain,other Chinese body words as the source domain and "hand" as the target domain,the relationship between "hand" and other parts of the human body and the mapping between other things or people.Chapter five is the conclusion,which summarizes the problems discussed in this paper,and explains the insufficiency of this paper and the problems to be further studied.
