The stage play script Click is a exploration which aims at the failure of communication in the screen-reading age of information-gushing.The script provides a possible arena for discussing the meaning of dialogue in contemporary theatres by sketching four different sets of cyber-era landscapes. The author tries to break up the Babel Tower illusion constructed in the era of screen reading.Through the structure of "fish biting tail",the whole work is divided into four groups of landscapes with the background of"Luchuan earthquake" and "the strongest rapper live broadcast".The specific plot is generated by the four concepts of "dislocation of communication","gangster-style network carnival","illusion of communication" and "meaning of information":"The dislocation of communication" depicts the communication barrier between acquaintances because one party is immersed in the network;"the gangster cyber carnival" depicts the manipulated cyber violence without knowing it;"the illusion of communication" depicts the glimmering cyber communication;"The meaning of information"depicts the conscious screening and avoidance of information. This interpretation of script points out the intention of script creation from four aspects:theme selection and material selection, structure and space-time,absence of action, contradiction and compromise, and explains the way and reason of the selection and symbol of characters. Finally,it expounds the reasons for the lack of action and the unique way of stage presentation from the aspects of modern drama,post-modernism and postdramatic theatre.
