Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country, with three major ethnic groups,Malay,Chinese and Indian, and more than 100 other ethnic minorities.During the colonial period, due to the implementation of the education policy of "separate rule",the education system was relatively dispersed. After the establishment of the Federal Government of Malaysia, the Government adopted a series of measures to reform education in Malaysia. The educational and cultural differences between the ethnic groups have been narrowed. At present, the Malaysian National School, the Chinese Primary School and the Tamil School have developed well, but historically they had not developed smoothly.Although education in Malaysia is a place to balance and regulate this inequality of rights and resources, most of the favorable policies are more pro-Malay.Under this pluralistic social background, the Chinese community should make Chinese students adapt to this pluralistic society, accept the most advanced scientific and cultural knowledge, and be in line with the world. It is a great challenge for Chinese community to maintain the development of the nation through education and to make the national culture continue from generation to generation. So what is their status quo in basic education in Malaysia? What kind of conflicts and compromises have been encountered in Chinese education in the context of multiculturalism? How does it fit into other Malaysian education? In the second chapter, the author studies the current situation of Chinese education in Malaysia, including the main components of Chinese education, such as the Chief of Education of Dong, the Chinese schools in different periods, and the teaching materials of Chinese schools.Chinese school teachers, famous independent secondary school examination, school funding, including the status and significance of Chinese education in Malaysia. The third and fourth chapters discuss the conflict, adaptation and integration of Chinese education in Malaysia.Malaysian culture is pluralistic, which is mainly manifested in ethnic pluralism, geographical pluralism and educational pluralism. The diversity of ethnic groups mainly shows the differences in their living habits, costumes, languages, beliefs and so on.In addition to the differences in geographical location between East and West Malaysia, there is also an uneven distribution of educational resources. The diversity of education is mainly due to the differences in the use of teaching media, the differences of educational contents and the differences of educational concepts in these different types of schools. Therefore,in the context of Malaysian multiculturalism, they are in conflict with each other. The ruling party's policy of "Malay priority" has made other ethnic groups unfairly treated. This unfair treatment has led to ethnic conflicts, and Chinese education has also been hard to escape.Under the constant conflicts,in order to gain a foothold in Malay and to survive the education of the Chinese language, the Chinese Society has had to make compromises. However, this compromise does not ultimately lead to the demise of Chinese language education, but rather to better development. At present,Chinese education and Malaysian education are at a stage of integration, especially in terms of values. While inheriting the traditional Chinese culture, the Chinese school began to recognize its responsibilities and obligations as a Malay, which was reflected in Malaysia's civic education. But the conflict is not what the Malaysian government would like to see. They are also making concessions. In compromise, they are beginning to recognize the great contribution that Chinese education has made to Malaysia. They also recognize the importance of multicultural education. This makes each other begin to accept and merge. Therefore, the Chinese language education and the Malay government compromise and tolerance are worthy of reference. On the one hand,Chinese education has continuously preserved its own outstanding national culture, and has taken on the responsibility of being a national citizen and has contributed to the world. The Malaysian government,on the other hand, has embraced this diversity in a more inclusive and open manner, making Malaysia grow faster. The development of Chinese language education in Malaysia has also made us see the charm of Chinese culture.China is also a multi-ethnic country, and it is also facing the challenge of globalization. The integration with other Malaysian education provides us with good inspiration for building a more stable, prosperous country.
