Located in the Xie family of Zhufeng Village,Yongtai County,in the middle of the mountainous area, there are a large number of contract documents in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which can more fully reflect the social and economic activities of the entire clan and each branch.Based on these contract documents, this paper combines field investigations and handed down literature, celebrity essays, local chronicles and other historical materials to investigate the interaction between economic development and clan development in the middle and mountainous areas of the Qing Dynasty, and explore the internal structure of traditional Chinese rural society. With the operating mechanism.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Xie family began to settle in the local naturalization and entered the state's management system. They chose a more appropriate livelihood model for settlement, and objectively provided a stable environment for mountain development. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,in order to sell local rice,Xie's integration of clan by means of joint-stocking and construction of villages enabled some ethnic groups to walk out of the mountains and complete social transformation. After the five-day trade, the market environment changed dramatically. The mountain goods business was more profitable than the rice grain trade. The Xie clan people strengthened their accumulation of local wealth and local social control through internal labor and various divisions.Successfully completed the big change in the livelihood model. The establishment of Zhufeng Village is not only a sign of the success of their internal and external interaction models, but also a key factor in ensuring that the local economy can maintain a good mountain forest economy. There is a complementary relationship between the economic development of the mountainous areas in the middle of the Qing Dynasty and the development of the clan.By examining this historical phenomenon,we can reveal the transformation process of China's traditional rural social and economic structure.
