HuiZhou Documents refer to the written records of Huizhou people's personal interests in the specific process of social production, life, development and communication. There are a large number of documents, which are characterized by authenticity, popularity, typicality and coherence.Specific contents include land sales, divisions, contract discussion, marriage and funeral, complaints, wills, letters, books and so on.Among them, the contractual documents are of low format, and the types of disyllabic words are rich and changeable in the Qing Dynasty, and the value of corpus is high. Therefore, this paper takes this as the research object for in-depth study. The research is divided into four parts:The introduction mainly introduces the collection and collation of Huizhou documents, the value of corpus, the object of study, the current research situation and research methods. At present,Huizhou documents have rich research results in history, economics and law. However,in terms of language and writing,it is relatively weak, and there are few systematic studies on the disyllabic words of some kind of documents. Therefore, the study of disyllabic words in Huizhou contract documents in the Qing Dynasty can be used as a new field for further exploration. The first chapter mainly summarizes the characteristics of double-syllable words in Huizhou contract documents in Qing Dynasty from the macro and micro perspectives.Specifically divided into commercial economy, agriculture and forestry tax, clan funeral and litigation disputes and other four aspects,in order to clarify the vocabulary characteristics of such documents.Chapter two makes an in-depth discussion on the new meanings of disyllabic neologisms in this document.Huizhou documents are handwritten by those who make contracts, which contain many popular characters. Therefore, this paper fully combines the knowledge of edition, collation and philology to distinguish and analyze vulgar characters and explore the original writing form.On this basis, the paper explores the origin of the new meanings of disyllabic neologisms in documents, and analyses the motivation of word formation and the path of word meaning evolution.Chapter three takes the semantic field as the background, and analyses the similarities, differences and diachronic evolution of disyllabic words in the semantic field of"distribution(??)"and"injury(??)"respectively from the three levelsof semantics, grammar and pragmatics.Especially, the types of bi-syllabic words appearing in the literature corpus are comprehensively investigated. In the semantic field of"distribution(??)",the differences in the use of disyllabic words in literature are shown in classical Chinese and vernacular Chinese. In the semantic field of"injury(??)",the differences are reflected in the use cases of handed-down documents and Buddhist scriptures.
