| "NP Indefinitee+VP"is an indefinite subject sentence,which does not conform to the traditional understanding of "subject has definite object but no definite" in the academic circle.In recent years it has become one of the more concerned problems in the grammar circle.Scholars have mainly focused their research on "whether the subject component is indefinite:"the subject has qualitative restriction mechanism and influencing factors:and "semantic permission of indefinite subject",but have neglected the structural,semantic and pragmatic analysis ofthe overall category of such sentence patterns.Combined with the above problems,this paper studies the following four aspects:a syntactic structure characteristics;b.semantic features;c.sentence meaning;d.s tylistic constraints.The full text is divided into five chapters as follows:The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly summarizes the research purpose and significance of this paper,summarizes the research status of "definite/indefinite" "NP referential" and"NP Indefinite+VP" related issues,defines the research object and scope of this paper,and explains the research methods and data sources.The second chapter mainly analyzes the structural and semantic features of NP indeterminacy in"NP indederminiacy+VP".On the basis of the previous classification of the basic forms of nominal comonents,the structure and reference of the subject NP in "NP Indefinite+VP" are summarized in combination with the actual corpus,and the expressions of NP Indefinite with different structures in indefinite subject sentences are distinguished and explained,and the predicate of NP Indefinite are summarized.The third chapter mainly analyzes the structure of predicate components in "NP Indefinite+VP" uses quantitative analysis method to randomly retrieve a certain amount of corpus,counts the reference situation of sentences under the condition of limiting predicate components,and then carries out targeted analysis,finds out the rules and explains the reasons.The semantic features of VP in "NP Indefinite+VP" are also analyzed.It is found that the semantic functions of each component in "NP Indefinite+VP" correspond to each other,among which NP Indefinite has the greatest influence on indefinite subject sentences and the least influence on objects.The fourth chapter analyzes the sentence meaning of "NP Indefinite+VP" and the transitivity difference of "NP Indefinite+VP" under different stylistic conditions on the basis of the previous two chapters."NP Indefinite+VP" tends to appear in narrative novels,joke stories and news reports.We have made a comparative explanation.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.Summarize and summarize the content of the full text,and point out the shortcomings of ths study and the direction of future efforts. |
