On The Adaptation To The Water Margin Drama Of Ming And Qing Dynasites

Water Margin Drama as an important part of the Water Margin culture, attracted theattention of numerous scholars over the years, there are many research results on the WaterMargin Drama has come out, which is no lack of Water Margin Drama adaptation research,however, research the Water Margin Drama from the perspective of adaptation, there arestill many areas worthy of further exploration. This paper take the Water Margin Drama ofMing and Qing dynasties as the research object, study on the continuation and evolvementof the Water Margin Drama of Ming and Qing dynasties from the adaptation perspective,mainly discusses the formation and propagation process of the legend opera text, which isreflected by adaptation of the Water Margin Drama in Ming and Qing dynasties, includingthe Water Margin legend opera adapted from "Outlaws of the Marsh" and the WaterMargin Drama of Ming and Qing dynasties re-adapted from the legend opera text whichadapted from "Outlaws of the Marsh" to reflect the evolution of the Water Margin Dramaof Ming and Qing dynasties, by comparing the adapted works and original, trying togeneralize this adapted creation, thus revealing the propagation environment and authors’creative psychology of the Water Margin Drama in Ming and Qing dynasties, and thepropagation effect produced by this adapted creation.This paper will be divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly puts the development of the Water Margin Drama and worksin each stage in order, displays the development process which from the Operas of Songand Yuan dynasties to the Drama of Yuan dynasty, and then to Drama of Ming and Qingdynasties. Puts the Water Margin Drama works of each stage in order, in order tounderstand the whole picture of the development of the Water Margin Drama, and providetime clues and works clues to blow which study on the adaptation to the Water MarginDrama of Ming and Qing Dynasties.The second chapter discusses the Water Margin legend opera adapted from "Outlawsof the Marsh", discuss how the Water Margin Drama of Ming and Qing Dynasties adapted"Outlaws of the Marsh" from three aspects of the plots, themes and characters, to display the regular pattern and features of this adapted creation.The third chapter mainly investigates the Water Margin Drama of Ming and QingDynasties adapted from the legend opera text, which divided into two main areas,including Water Margin legend opera of Ming and Qing Dynasties adapted from the legendopera text and Water Margin Excerpts adapted from the legend opera text, throughcomparing the adapted works and original, reflect the evolution details of the Water MarginDrama of Ming and Qing dynasties in the process of passing, besides analyzes andsummarizes the characteristics of these adapted creation.The fourth chapter discusses the spread of the Water Margin Drama of Ming and QingDynasties in the behavior of adaptation, analyzes the historical environment of adaptationand propagation of Water Margin Drama of Ming and Qing Dynasties, authors’ creativepsychology and drama viewpoints, and the influence of stage performances on adaptationand propagation of Water Margin Drama of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
