On The Creation And Performing Characteristics Of Zheng Song <Nong>

As the Chinese ancient musical instrument,Guzheng is one representative of the national instrumental art.In the long history,With the development of the times change,the arts have free expression and the schools of thoughts contend without restrictions after the reform and opening up.Under the multiple development of art and culture,many Guzheng music have sprung up.These Guzheng music are not only innovated in many aspects such as techniques and music styles,but also as the important witness to the development of Guzheng music in the present.With the development of the contemporary environment,Liu Le,a Guzheng performer created the Guzheng concerto ‘Nong'.The music is based on the motivation of Pingtan beginning melody.With the secondary creation of performer Liu,he uses seven-sound Guzheng,combine traditional music and modern techniques,to express the softy suchou dialect,abundant southern culture and the comprehensive culture of Shanghai culture.It also makes the Chinese traditional culture shine more brightly,and coincide with the spirit of the contemporary era.This paper will explore the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation of ‘Nong' through its structural analysis,melody elements of Pingtan and the core pitch materials.
