Oral English learning goes through the whole process of language learning,and the oral ability of English learners in junior high school will affect their English communication level to some extent.However,at the present stage,due to the large number of classes,limited teaching time and opportunities in class for English learners to communicate with each other,the individual guidance given by teachers is relatively limited in oral English teaching in junior high schools.In addition,oral English teaching is not valued,and learners lack the habit of self-directed oral English learning ability,and the learning form is relatively single.It is worth thinking that how to extend learners' oral English learning time,combine learning activities inside and outside the classroom closely,and design various oral English learning activities with moderate difficulty.The convenience of mobile learning provides learners with conditions for oral English learning at any time.The blended learning activities that combine the pre-class and after-class oral English learning under the mobile learning environment with in-class face-to-face learning can extend the time and space of oral English practice,which is more helpful for learners to master basic knowledge,improve oral English skills and apply what they have learned.Therefore,how to achieve the mixture of learning style,learning resources,learning strategy is worthy of attention,as well as designing oral English blended learning activities which conform to the characteristics of English learners in junior high school.Blended learning,which combines the advantages of traditional teaching and online learning,can meet the needs of different English learners in various environment and has been applied in education increasingly.To some degree,the development of mobile technology has enriched the way of blended learning.For English learners in junior high school,the use of mobile learning environment can increase the opportunity to practice oral English and enhance the flexibility of learning time.Based on the literature review and the research on mobile learning,as well as oral English teaching and blended learning activity design respectively,this paper investigates the current situation of oral English learning in junior high school with questionnaire survey,clarifies the existing problems and learners'learning needs,and carries out the feasibility analysis of learning activity design.After that,the design of blended learning activities are formed,which are applied to oral English of junior high school under the mobile learning environment,using the method of design-based research mainly,modifying as well as improving in three rounds of practice constantly.Finally,an optimized oral English blended learning activity scheme of junior high school under the mobile learning environment is formed,and some implementation suggestions are summarized.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The oral English blended learning activities of junior high school under the mobile learning environment are closely related to the content of oral English learning both inside and outside the classroom,extending the time and space for learners to practice under the mobile learning environment,expanding learning channels,promoting learners' oral communication in English,and realizing the goal of"speaking English" in a relatively real context.(2)The design and implementation of oral English blended learning activities in junior high school under the mobile learning environment are suggested from the aspects of the selection of teaching methods,the number and difficulty of learning activities,the methods of teachers' guidance and evaluation.(3)The oral English blended learning activities in junior high school under the mobile learning environment play a positive role in improving learners' interest and participation in learning activities.
