Many Chinese adverbs are polar sensitive, such as temporal adverbs,"shi zhong" "cong lai" and "cong",modal adverbs "bi xu" "gan" and other words, their distribution context is limited, tend to appear in the affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences and other contexts,or in different semantics, there are different contextual tendencies. The words that tend to appear in positive sentences are positive words, and the words that tend to appear in negative sentences are negative words. In this paper, the "shi zhong" time adverbs are taken as the research object, starting from the semantic features and syntactic distribution characteristics of the "shi zhong" class, and based on the statistics of the corpus, the contextual tendency of the "always" time adverbs is determined.Through the relevant theories, their negative polarity sensitivity characteristics and motivation are discussed. This article will discuss the above main contents from six chapters:The first chapter introduces the purpose and significance of the research, the research object, the research status, the method and the source of the corpus, and summarizes the research of the predecessor, and prepares the foundation for the next research. The second chapter mainly analyzes the semantic features of "shi zhong","cong lai" and "cong",and compares their commonalities and differences in semantic features from the perspectives of time period characteristics, static and dynamic, tense. The third chapter analyzes the syntactic position distribution of"shi zhong" time adverbs, discusses the position of "shi zhong","cong lai" and "cong" before and after the subject and the use of other words, trying to remove the "shi zhong" time adverbs. The words used in combination are used to analyze whether the sentence is true or not,and to analyze the reasons why the sentence is not established. In addition, this chapter compares the commonalities and differences in the distribution of syntactic positions of "shi zhong" time adverbs. The fourth chapter analyzes the use quantity and proportion of "shi zhong" time adverbs in affirmative and negative sentences through data statistics, and finds that they have an imbalance in the affirmative and negative sentences, and finds "shi zhong" Class-like adverbs have polarity-sensitive features. The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the factors of "shi zhong" time adverbs with polarity-sensitive characteristics, and uses relevant theories to logically reason the "shi zhong" time adverbs, from mark pattern theory, typical step model theory and probability-based cascade model theory.Explain the motivation. The sixth chapter is the conclusion part, summarizing the research content and results of the full text, and puts forward the innovation points and existing deficiencies of this paper.
