In the long history of the development of piano music, the piano music in the Romantic period has a pivotal position.Based on the premise of the mid-term concert, this paper chooses three representative works in the concert to study the common characteristics of their musical styles.Piano Narrative No.2 in F Major is Chopin's narrative creation with a very strict musical logic. It is a perfect combination of literature and music."Aberg Variations" is Schumann's first work in the field of piano creation, which established Schumann's music style in piano creation.Sonata D664 in A major is a transitional work of Schubert's from the middle to late-stage of his music creation. This paper first analyses the development and characteristics of piano music in the Romantic period, then analyses the background of the three works according to their own study, then guides practice with theory and combines their own experience to study the music style commonality of the three works from two aspects: creation commonality and performance commonality. It is hoped that through the exploration of these problems, piano performers can better grasp the music style of these three works, and provide some reference for future study and playing of piano works in the Romantic period.
