Multimedia image has already become a common stage vocabulary in contemporary theater.Theater directors are also actively exploring the function of multimedia image that can truly participate in artistic creation besides expanding stage space and assisting actors to perform. The application of modern media in theater means that directors use modern technology to expand the boundaries of Brecht period illusion theater. At the same time,a considerable number of directors have once again devoted themselves to another practice of "Real-time Theatre "--live video shooting. In other words, the staff or actors themselves will film the live performance in real time on the stage, the picture editing and sound processing will be carried out synchronously in the theater, which will directly expose the filming and production process to the audience. This way also challenges the audience on the edge of expanding drama in thousands of years of traditional opera already established aesthetic habits, when the camera directly exposed to the stage to break the established by the actors perform the assumption of the fourth wall. The attention that once required only a lock on the physical performance of the actor was diverted to the process of screen close-up and video recording. When film and drama those two fundamentally different artistic forms has placed in the same space, the image as a medium is like a double-edged sword. It damages the essence of drama and breaks the audience's long-solidified aesthetic habit of watching drama, there are also provides the subtle expression and movement details of actors that even the audience closest to the stage cannot see clearly. It makes up for the audience's problem in receiving information due to the physical space of the theater. That enables the audience and actors to produce richer and more intimate empathic effects, complements the external plot reality outside the stage narrative and the inner psychological reality of the characters, making the theater has more "psychological" traits.
