On The Spiritual Dimension Of Can Xue’s Novels

As the most individual writer in the new era,Can Xue shows her confidence and determination to write as a pioneer.In her works,she takes western culture as the root,and tries to go the very core of literature to explore the depth of the soul.And in a special way of self-examination,she takes the initiative to enter into the deep world of human beings,her literary works touch the existence of the human world.Explore the human spirit has always been the main content of Can Xue’s writing,she pointed out that literature without spiritual pursuit is pseudo-literature,so the spirit level of analysis for her writing is bound to hit a deeper reality and man’s soul.She has always been sticking to "pure" literature,which keeps her away from soulless writing,in addition,arcane language structure and absurd logic of thinking also rejects readers who do not understand the literary world of Can Xue,which is its charm in some degree.This paper is divided into four parts.The introduction aims to explain the reason and significance of this thesis,namely,the research status of Can Xue,as well as the research ideas and methods of this paper,and on this basis,puts forward the innovation of this paper.First chapter explores the spiritual origin of Can Xue’s writing,I found that Can Xue is under the influence of western modern philosophy.She admires Dante,Kafka,Borges,considers their literature as the literature of the soul,which brought her to the journey of a series of experiments on the "new experimental literature".She categorizes her writing as "automatic writing",classifies them as "human" literature.For from her perspective,literature which focuses on "humans" is the real literature.The second chapter summarizes the "outer" dimension of Can Xue’s exploration of the spiritual world,which includes the subverting tradition,breaking convention and rebelling against the secular world in her writings.In her literary creation,can xue deconstructs the writing style of traditional literature,expresses her instinct of judging the ugly without restriction,subverts the previous language structure and unusual image expression,all of which to some extent help can xue to complete the self-construction that breaks through the traditional confinement,which is the important direction of her spiritual writingThird chapter points to the "inner" spirit.In Can Xue’s view,only "personalized writing" is a great writing,which conform to her pursue of freedom to some extent,Only in her personalized writing can she complete the creation of revolutionary female consciousness,build up the absurd world with absurd language,and explore the existence and nothingness in the process of dying,so as to fill the spiritual essence of her literary world.
