A Brief Analysis Of The Musical Style And Characteristics In Alfred Uhl's Clarinet Production

This thesis aims at discussing the music style and characteristics of Alfred·Uhl 's clarinet quartet.As a modernist composer of the twentieth century,Alfred·Uhl has a special fondness for clarinet,because in his clarinet works,the musical structure is relatively free,the melody contains a lot of modern techniques and intricate harmony limbs.So for performers,Alfred·Uhl 's music is also very challenging.In this paper,I will take Alfred·Uhl 's Clarinet Quartet "Divertimento" as an example.From the analysis of musical structure,harmony and the treatment of the relationship between different voices,explain the music style and characteristics of Alfred·Uhl 's clarinet music,and elaborates how to grasp the composer's style through the treatment of works in performance.Since the repertoire cited in the paper is a clarinet quartet,at present,there are few theories about the analysis of the music style of modern Clarinet Works and the practice of modern clarinet ensemble at home and abroad.So this paper also enriches the clarinet's theoretical knowledge in the training of ensemble,it provides some new ideas for Clarinet performers to interpret modern ensembles.
