This paper takes the sophomores of Sinology College of Mea Fah Luang University as the research object,uses the methods of questionnaires and personal interviews to study the problems existing in the intermediate reading course of Mea Fah Luang University,and puts forward some suggestions.Taking the article "The lost Boy Find Home"as an example,the teaching design is carried out.and the feedback of students is analyzed.There are five chapters in the article.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the research background,research methods,research purposes and significance of the article.The second chapter are literature review of three aspects,namely,the related research on the teaching of intermediate reading in Chinese as a foreign language,the existing problems in the intermediate reading course and the related research on Chinese Teaching in Mea Fah Luang University.Chapter three analyses the problems in the intermediate reading course of Mea Fah Luang University from five aspects:students,teachers,teaching materials,testing and presentation.The main problems of students are insufficient attention to reading lessons,poor reading habits,insufficient use of reading skills and less reading.The main problems of teachers are insufficient teaching experience,inactive teaching attitude,single teaching mode and lack of interesting,teaching details and methods need to be improved,and the role of multimedia has not been brought into full play.The main problems in reading textbooks are that the contents of textbooks are old,difficult,lack of interest and low practicability,and the exercise design of textbooks is not reasonable enough.The problem of the test is that there is no uniform standard for the test paper,and the difficulty is hard to control.The problem of presentation is that the requirements are not clear and the details need to be improved.Chapter IV,in view of the problems in Chapter ?,puts forward reasonable suggestions from the four perspectives of Sinolog College,teachers,students and textbooks.The fifth chapter carries on the teaching design to the article"The lost Boy Find Home".The teaching goal is to improve students' reading comprehension ability,strengthen the training of students'reading skills.After class,students are given evaluation scales,teacher analyses and summarizes students' feedback.
