Portraying Lanzhou City On Oil Paintings:Tradition,Transition And Development

With the development of social economy,people's quality of life and living efficiency are rapidly increasing."City" as the space on which we humans live,has undergone earth-shaking changes in recent years.The author wants to describe the style of the city through the expression of oil painting,express the humanities of the city,and study the historical sediment of the city.The topic of this thesis comes from the author's own creative experience.The purpose of the creation is to express the love for Lanzhou,the city where she lives,and to seek the beauty of life.Based on the analysis of the geographical and cultural characteristics of Lanzhou,and the development of urban oil painting,the thesis shows the whole process of the development of Lanzhou city through detailed visits and research.In the process of creation,the landscapes of different periods of the city were selected for trade-off and reconstruction,which showed the changes of Lanzhou city's style in the past 100 years.Through this creation,people's attention to Lanzhou urban culture was aroused.Depicting the colorful Lanzhou with a unique artistic perspective.
