Landscape painting developed into a modern, resulting in a very important change, that is, the emergence of urban landscapes. When people in transforming the nature of life, and interpersonal behavior, activities have created a culture, when the urban areas, the traditional Chinese landscape painting language it seems, has a modern style, spirit, more and more away from the kernel Yuan, urban landscapes, the emergence of a more traditional landscape painting system, a branch of the times and of necessity, her make up and the further construction of a Chinese landscape painting rich in form and language systems.In this paper, textual research of urban landscapes, at what time exactly is formed. According to modern scholars of the inspection results, urban landscape of this concept was first proposed not by the artist, but by the past, Mr. scientist Qian Xuesen. Mainly based on Qian in 1958 and 1990 published two to talk about gardens and urban construction articles. Then, this system is divided into four chapters of the Urban Landscape: the first chapter is to discuss the relationship between urban landscape and history, this is mainly about the election of the ancient paintings relating to architecture and the city's landscape works, such as Huizong's "Rui map", Zhang Zeduan's "Painting Scroll", as well as painting the building sector, specifically painting and so on. The second chapter is to discuss urban landscapes in the modern sense, this is mainly analyzed the formation of urban landscapes in the modern social and cultural backgrounds. Human development to the modern, urban life not only on human material have a significant impact, but also produced a great spiritual impact. Not only provide people with a wealth of material living conditions, but also give people cause a variety of mental state. So, a modern city is not only people's material survival necessity, and its also the people's mental survival needs. Urban landscape as a new spiritual culture carrier is here has an important practical significance. The third chapter is mainly about the establishment of urban landscapes, artistic language. Urban landscape to be painting a new painting styles, it must establish a new artistic language symbols and pen and ink. For example, in the ancient landscape, the trees and flowers, pavilions pavilions have corresponding lines of symbols, then painted today a new high-rise buildings, concrete building, to paint the modern means of transport, overpasses, neon signs, etc., definitely need to establish a new set of symbolic language, as well as the ink performance of their new language. Here, we only need to learn from ancient times, drawing on the experience of the ancients, but also the need for modern, real-life-oriented, creative, and establishing the concept of a new era of aesthetic language of painting. The fourth chapter is to discuss the spirit of the urban landscape and point to the future development of urban landscape is not only a child of modern life, not only to give modern people to provide spiritual solace, and along with it in the future development of society, it will provide for the future of human society the spirit of a more exciting meal.Of course, to truly establish a high-quality urban landscape of this painting in order to achieve the creation of a culture, which is not an easy task. It needs to traditional learning, but also need to learn from the West; not only need our artists with innovative courage and wisdom, and they need our artists have indomitable perseverance and persistence of the stick; and even, it needs our theorists and timely analyzed and summarized to participate in this creation.
