Report On The Creation Of The Documentary "Mian·Su": A Preliminary Exploration Of The Creation Of A Folk Documentary

In recent years,with the continuous advancement of urbanization,many traditional folk customs have gradually lost their space to survive,and a large number of traditional skills have gradually declined.Based on the dual urban economic structure model in China’s urban and rural areas,the rural society has rapidly disappeared from the social status quo.The folk noodle sculpture of Lanxian County,which is one of the Shanxi Province’s folk custom,is selected as the research object from the many cultures that are dying.The lens is aimed at a group of noodle sculpture craftsmen in Lanxian County,Shanxi Province.In order to show the charm of the noodle sculpture culture of Lanxian County in Shanxi through interactive events and individual descriptions,so that more people can pay attention to the predicament of the current development of Chinese rural culture.This film takes the local folk culture--noodle sculpture--of Lanxian County,Shanxi Province as a clue,and tells the story of the predicament and persistence of the noodle sculpture craftsman in the county.The real record of the protagonist Liu Lili participated in the three events of the Lanxian Noodle sculpture Appreciation,the Lanxian County Noodle Sculpture Contest and the Lanxian Primary School Noodle Sculpture Teaching,which were earried out from the three dimensions of the history,present and future of the noodle sculpture culture.This paper describes the work from three parts.First of all,it is an overall overview of the work,starting from the characteristics of the selection of the characters,the interpretation of the main idea and the author’s creative process.Secondly,it is a discussion of the characteristics of the film’s creation,from the narrative framework construction of the film,the expression of audiovisual style and the style of the film.Finally,how to use the image to explore the visual representation of folk culture in this film,and the discussion of the folklore meaning in the film.
