Humanistic "Constraints Of Things"

At present,the research on artifacts in the academic circles mainly focuses on its practical functions and aesthetics,and the research on the Educational function of artifacts is still insufficient.Based on such a reality,this paper is based on the theme of "Humanistic 'Constraints of Things ' —— The Shaping Effect of Artifacts on Human",and analysis the important value and significance of the 'Constraints of Things',in order to broaden the functional boundary of the object and its design practice vision,and also provide a sense of orientationto for modern Chinese design's develop.First of all,the thesis rethinks its meaning by placing the 'Constraints of Things' in the category of social constraints,and briefly summarizes its mode of action after clarifying its legitimacy and type attribution.Secondly,by analyzing the 'Constraints of Things' and 'Constraints of Things' in ancient Chinese society,it is explained that traditional artifacts also have human constraints in addition to satisfying people's needs.The media of the ancient Chinese society is also elaborated and its characteristics are summarized.Thirdly,it points out the lack of 'Constraints of Things' in modern society and analyzes its specific performance in the level of cognition and design practice.Finally,emphasis is placed on the inclusion of the 'Constraints of Things' into the value and significance of modern design.Through the above content,this paper is expected to achieve the following three objectives.First,to clarify the shaping effect of artifacts on people,that is,the "practical function" of a cultural attribute,to broaden the vision of design practice;second,to conceptually define the 'Constraints of Things 'and analyze its type attribution and mode of action,'Constraints of Things' participate in design practice to provide its basis;third,through the analysis of the 'Constraints of Things' of ancient Chinese society,summed up the Chinese experience,and explore the modern value of the 'Constraints of Things'.
