Shostakovich's Second Piano Concerto Performance Skill Research

Shostakovich is a famous composer of the former Soviet union in the middle of the 20th century.He belongs to the neo-classical music school and is an artistic integrator integrating modern symphony,classicism music and native nationality music.Although he was alone in a complex and turbulent political society,he could not be moved.He persisted in writing and left a large number of outstanding works handed down from generation to generation."Piano concerto no.2," one of shostakovich's two concerto works,was written in the middle of the last century,given to his son and premiered.This article takes Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No.2 as the main research object.Through studying the explosive and continuous octave playing,touching skills of long melodies,lively and humorous chromatic staccato,neat and clever repeated double tones,and intensive 16-note granular running used in this concerto,we can feel the emotion andatmosphere expressed in each movement of this work.The study andanalysis of the basic characteristics of performance skills,combined with the composer's life experience and sentiment,further grasp the artistic conception of the work,and provide a reference for better performance of the work and future piano teaching.
