Study On The Illustration Design Of Chengdu Modern City Characters

The creation of character theme is an indispensable part of modern illustration design.The character objects in real life are different in internal and external characteristics in different social and cultural environments.How to use the styling language of illustration to shape the characters in real life has become the focus of this research.Therefore,this thesis takes the modern city figure of Chengdu as the background of creation.Through the interpretation of the ancient Chinese city figures and the city figures of different periods in Chengdu,this paper explores the modern illustrator art creation and the illustrator language form,and combines its own creative practice to objective people.The internal and external characteristics of the object are refined,and the visual representation of the objective character in the illustration creation is further analyzed in different illustration modeling languages.The design of illustrator language is rich and colorful.The in-depth discussion of the application of illustrator language in character modeling is not only to shape the specific character object of the city figure,but also to create more cultural features by using different illustrator language.The illustrator character image is the ultimate goal of this research and creation practice.
