| The representation of space occupies an important position in painting,which is related to the essential attribute of painting.Chinese and Western paintings have different ways of expression in space processing.The West pursues three-dimensional modeling and pays attention to volume and intuitive space feeling.In the course of its development,Chinese classical painting is influenced by many factors,such as natural environment,traditional philosophy and aesthetics.It is different from western painting in space view.Chinese traditional painting of view does not adhere to a fixed point,whether freehand or meticulous painting,is not the focus of Western perspective,but has the characteristics of national spatial expression,that is,scattered perspective.In the Song Dynasty,Guo Xi mentioned the Three Far Ways in 《Lin Quan Gaozhi 》,of Pingyuan,Gaoyuan is far reaching,which is a unique way of expressing space in Chinese painting.Through combing the space expression of traditional and contemporary paintings,this paper explores the space expression in painting,and draws lessons from and learns from the knowledge and expression of space by excellent contemporary meticulous painters.Combining with the author’s own graduation creation,this paper explores the space expression in creation,trying to improve his understanding of space through practice and create better works. |
