The Research On The Library Quarterly

The Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography was formed in 1934 by the Chinese Association for World Cultural Cooperation of the League of Nations and the National Library of Peiping,and ceased publication in 1948.A total of 12 volumes and 34 issues have been published.The Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography adheres to the aim of "conveying the news of Chinese and foreign academic circles to domestic and foreign personages",which promotes the development of library science and the progress of the library cause in China.However,scholars' research on the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography is very weak.This article carries on the systematic investigation to the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography,in order to deepen the Republic of China library history research.Starting from the basic situation of the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography,this paper gives an overview of the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography from the following four aspects: its purpose,editorial team,column setting,distribution office and sales outlets,so as to have a preliminary understanding of the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography.The Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography attaches great importance to the research situation of overseas Sinology.It not only introduces the achievements of many overseas scholars on Sinology,but also introduces the achievements of visiting books abroad by the librarians of the National Library of Peiping,so as to provide an exchange platform for scholars,so as to promote academic exchanges at home and abroad.The total number of new books promoted by the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography is considerable,involving a wide range of disciplines.It also promotes many books on the war of resistance based on the current situation.It is hoped that this will inspire the Chinese people's confidence in the war of resistance,stimulate the national spirit,and enhance the patriotic love of the family.The ancient books,including postscript and collation textual research,which are introduced by the Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography,in order to carry forward the traditional Chinese culture.The Quarterly Bulletin of Chinese Bibliography is a famous library science periodical in the Republic of China,introduces the books of domestic scholars,and promotes the research results of overseas scholars,enriches the contents of library science in China,and promotes the cultural exchange between China and the other,and has far-reaching influence.
