From the second half of the nineteenth century to the beginning of the twentieth century,Russia experienced a period of rapid development.At the same time,the development of banking industry also expanded.The southern region of Russia,because of its close proximity to the Black Sea and the Azov Sea,has a unique geographical location,prosperous trade and developed industry and commerce,which has created a good environment for the development of banking industry,in turn,the development of banking industry has also promoted the development of the local regional economy.The first chapter of this paper is mainly the introduction part,which summarizes the previous research experience and clarifies the writing significance of this article.The second chapter first gives a brief historical review of the development of Russian commercial banks,analyses the background of the early banking industry in South Russia,and comprehensively and systematically expounds the historical process of the Russian banking industry from its emergence to development.In the third chapter,taking Azoz-the Don River Commercial Bank as an example,the business model of joint-stock commercial banks in South Russia is analyzed in detail.The establishment and organization of Axton River Commercial Bank are introduced.In addition,the role and influence of Jews on Russian banking and financial industry in this periodare pointed out.Chapter IV mainly introduces the impact of joint-stock commercial banks and state banks on Industrial Development in South Russia,including coal industry,metallurgical industry and petroleum industry,and expresses some views on the relationship between foreign capital banks and local banks in Russia.The fifth chapter mainly talks about the branch of the National Bank of Russia in South Russia,mainly analyses the development mode of the Russian National Bank Yuzovka,and its effect and influence on the economic development of the New Rossisk Border Region.
