"Carnivalization":The Resonance Of Literature And Times

The novel One Hundred Years of Solitude embodies the obvious carnival features.This article will use Bakhtin's "canivalization" theory to analyze this novel.This article will give a theoretical overview of "carnivalization",and then analyze the manifestation of the carnival features of One Hundred Years of Solitude,and then open up two points to explore what is the commonality of the times when the literary works with the characteristics of carnivalization appear.Under what kind of characteristics of the times,there will be literary works with carnival features.In this way,an extension of the longitudinal interpretation of One Hundred Years of Solitude is made,and a little expansion of Bakhtin's "carnivalization" theory is made.The first part,the theoretical overview of "carnivalization".This part will be discussed in two aspects.First,sort out the historical evolution of the "carnivalization" theory.In chronological order,from the ancient Greek period,the Middle Ages to the Renaissance,the eighteenth century to the late twentieth century,the twentieth century and later,the characteristics and evolution of the "carnivalization" theory in each period were discussed.Process;second,explain the three characteristics of the theory of "carnivalization."It has three distinct characteristics:duality,distraction and ironyThe second part discusses the embodiment of the "carnivalization" feature in One Hundred Years of Solitude.This section will start with three parts:one,duality.One Hundred Years of Solitude embodies the double voice of official and folk thoughts,reflecting the double voice of primitive and modern thinking.Second,dislocation and twisting.This article argues that the Gypsies Melkiades in the novel is a degraded image of the image of Jesus Christ.Although there is progress and development from him,but there is also a disaster of disaster,so he is the image of Christ after the disintegration;many stories in the Bible show a typical U-shaped structure,and Macondo is "quiet" The structure of calmness being broken--in another kind of calmness is the use of the narrative structure in this religious literature.Third,ironic.The similarities and language that appear in pairs in One Hundred Years of Solitude are all ironic and succinct.The third part discusses the commonality of the times pro.duced by the "carnivalization"works.This part is a sublimation of Bakhtin's "carnivalization" theory.This paper argues that in the era of alternating changes,the economic development model is subverted,and the ideological field is flourishing,it is more likely to appear with carnival features.The reason is that the characteristics of this era and the spiritual essence of carnivalization are fully consistent.Specifically,there are two points:First,the subversion of the economic development model is in line with the spiritual connotation of the development and rebirth of carnivalization.Second,the blossoming of the ideological field,the subversion and questioning of authority,and the spiritual connotation of the carnival advocate "missing" and"multi-voice".In addition,after the conclusions and reasons analysis,this part also selected two representative works("Dream of Red Mansions"and"Giant Biography")to give an example.
