Wang Guowei's Theory Of Beauty And Magnificent

Wang Guowei is not only the founder of modern aesthetics in China,but also an important builder of modern aesthetics in China.This paper takes the theory of beauty and magnificence in Wang Guowei's artistic aesthetics as the research object.On the basis of sorting out its main ideological source and basic theoretical connotation,it analyses the inheritance and breakthrough of Wang Guowei's theory of beauty and magnificence relative to western aesthetic theory,discusses Wang Guowei's artistic criticism practice using this theory,and reveals the development and evolution process of Wang Guowei's theory of beauty and magnificence.The paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is the introduction.This paper mainly combs the academic research status of Wang Guowei's theory of beauty and magnificence,the purpose,significance and research methods of this paper.Chapter two gives an account of Wang Guowei's early academic experience and academic mind.It summarizes Wang Guowei's aesthetic thoughts and focuses on the basic connotation of his theory of beauty and magnificence.Chapter three combs the Western origin of Wang Guowei's theory of beauty and magnificence and the inheritance relationship with Kant Schopenhauer,focusing on the breakthrough of the theory to western aesthetic thought.Wang Guowei is not simply translating and introducing western theories,but reforming the theory of beauty and magnificence in combination with traditional Chinese artistic thoughts.Chapter IV discusses Wang Guowei's application of the theory of beauty and magnificence in his works such as Commentary on Dream of Red Mansions,Words on the World and Examination of Song and Yuan Opera,and reveals the development and evolution of Wang Guowei's theory of beauty and magnificence.
