As Wang Guowei said,"One era has a literature of the times." We can not be surprised to discover that the "Sea Flower Biography" with the background of the Shanghai city in the late Qing Dynasty is active in an unusually rich foreign world.Countless foreigners with dreams have stopped in Shanghai and derived a rich The image of a stranger.The author Han Bangqing selected the unique angle of a stranger to show his various living conditions in his works.On the basis of a detailed examination of the author's life,this thesis begins with a close reading of the text,trying to explain the writing of the aliens from the Sea Flower Biography in the two directions of urban aliens' image characteristics and aesthetic value.The first part of the article is an introduction,expounding the research results and shortcomings of scholars in this respect,and determining the research and significance of the topic.The second part begins with the generation of the image of a stranger,examines the relationship between the author and the text,and believes that the social background of the late Qing Dynasty and the author's own life experience are the source of the image of the aliens in the "Sea Flower Biography".The third part discusses the image characteristics of urban strangers in "Sea Flower Biography" from the common desire,diversified dilemmas and different choices.The fourth part explores the aesthetic value of the image of the stranger,and believes that it enhances the philosophical implication of the text,constructs the mediocrity of the tragedy,and enriches the image of the character.
