City is the main carrier of today’s social development and the center of regional politics,culture and economy.Therefore,it is necessary to tap the urban culture,make use of cultural resources,build the urban brand image,and build the city into a city full of creativity and vitality.Although there have been many achievements in the development of urban brands in China,and a number of excellent urban brands have emerged,there are still many phenomena that the design positioning of urban brand image is not clear,and there are also some deficiencies in the theoretical research of urban branding,which affect the development of urban brand image.Langzhong has a long history,a hundred flowers of culture and a unique geographical environment,which has natural advantages in shaping the city’s brand.Firstly,by consulting the research on relevant cultural tourism and urban brand design theories,this paper analyzes the development status and future development trend of Langzhong urban brand from the perspective of culture and tourism,focusing on Langzhong’s history and culture,humanistic spirit and folk customs.Secondly,combined with the advantages and disadvantages of other urban brands in development,this paper makes a detailed study on the future development direction of Langzhong City through the design method of visual communication,and designs a set of feasible practical scheme of Langzhong City brand visual image on this basis.Finally,through the research and elaboration of relevant theories,this paper carries out the design practice of Langzhong urban brand visual image,which aims to enrich the theoretical knowledge system of urban brand visual image,provide a set of rich practical schemes for the research of urban brand visual image design,and make a certain contribution to the development of urban brand image design in the future.
