The discovery and utilization of Chinese tea has a history of four to five thousand years, and it has been flourishing all over the world.China is the first country in the world to discover, cultivate and utilize tea.Now tea has taken root in more than 50 countries around the world.Tea has become one of the three most popular non-alcoholic beverages in the world. As an important commodity that began to circulate on the ancient Silk Road,Chinese tea played an important role in cultural exchange and dissemination..It can be said that tea and tea culture has become a bridge and link linking the countries and regions along the "Belt and Road".President Xi Jinping also pointed out that The Ancient Silk Road were not for trade only, they boosted flow of knowledge as well.At present,A solid first step has been taken in pursuing the Belt and Road Initiative. At the just-concluded Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation,President Xi Jinping also put forward some expectations and requirements in his speech, one of which is we should build the “Belt and Road” into a road connecting different civilizations. The spread of tea culture is the transmission of a national culture. With the support of the policy of the " Belt and Road",the promotion of the spread of tea culture is conducive to building a platform for communication, which will not only providing more possibilities for our life and spiritual civilization, but also a new development opportunity for the related cultural industries. This paper is an interpreting report on “the Impetuses of Tea Culture Transmission for the Belt and Road Initiative” in China Talk, which is guided by the theory of interpretive theory.According to the theory of interpretative theory, translation is not a simple transformation of language but a communicative act. Therefore, translators should not be too rigid in the structure of the source language, thus ignoring the differences in culture, thinking manner and expression habits between the two languages.Translation is not simply to convey meaning, but to convey the contents and feelings of understanding. Therefore, the interpretive theory proposes that translation should be divided into three processes: comprehension, deliberation and reformulation. This paper is mainly divided into four chapters.Chapter one mainly describes the sources of interpretation tasks, including the introduction of interpretation materials and the significance of this translation practice.Chapter two mainly describes the process of interpretation practice. It includes three stages: pre-interpreting,in-interpreting and post-interpreting.That is,preparation before interpretation, performance of interpretation tasks and evaluation after interpretation practice.Chapter three is a case study.29 typical cases are selected in this paper and the techniques and strategies are used in the interpretation practice under the guidance of interpretive theory, such as literal translation and free translation, omission and addition of translation, and adding explanatory content. The last chapter is mainly about the summary of the interpretation practice, including the problems that are difficult to solve in the interpretation practice and the author's harvest and enlightenment through this practice.
