This paper mainly take about The Stone Of“Yi Que Fo Kan”by Chu Suiliang in the tang dynasty as the research entry point,briefly introduces its rubbings,inscriptions and postscript of later generations,and discusses its calligraphy features and related issues.Taking it as an example,this paper analyses and discusses the influence of the evolution of the scripts from Official script to Regular script on the tablet,aiming at further analyzing and discussing the tablet from different angles,and seeking the relationship between the characteristics of calligraphy in the evolution period and the inherent evolution law of calligraphy in the early Tang Dynasty.Regular scripts have been formed in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,but the old style of calligraphy still exists.The deliberate “retro” in the Northern Qi Dynasty makes regular scripts still contain Writing style of official script.Therefore,this paper compares Yique Buddhist Gong Stele with Chu Suiliang's calligraphy works in different periods and regular script stone carvings in early Tang Dynasty,and explores the stylistic causes of the stele from the perspective of calligraphy style.This paper analyses the artistic features of the tablet of The Stone Of“Yi Que Fo Kan”,and then summarizes the artistic value of the tablet in the early Tang Dynasty and its influence on later generations.And through their own creative practice,combined with the style of the times to explore and analyze the problems faced by contemporary regular scripts.As a dissertation applying for master's degree in art,this paper also needs to consider the guidance of specific practice.Therefore,from the perspective of learning calligraphy,The Stone Of“Yi Que Fo Kan” provides more possibilities for the creators to enter the ancient and come out of the new.First of all,when inscribing regular scripts,we can show more graceful in the body and pay more attention to their simple and clumsy style of calligraphy;secondly,we can better understand the transition state of the evolution of calligraphy in the study of the history of calligraphy;finally,we know how to use its artistic characteristics to increase the richness of writing when creating a certain style of calligraphy.From the point of view of the development of contemporary calligraphy,we should understand the background of the calligrapher's creation at that time through the dialogue between stele inscriptions and the ancients,so as to find out a more creative and artistic personality pursuit which is more in line with the aesthetic trend of paying more attention to expression nowadays.
