As the primary link of classroom teaching activities,classroom Lead-in is a kind of teaching behavior that allows students to make clear the teaching content,the learning purpose,the learning style,the learning expectation and the need to participate in the classroom teaching activities.Although it does not take much time,the proportion is not large,but the role can not be underestimated.If a class is introduced properly,students5 curiosity will be aroused,so that they can actively participate in classroom teaching.At the same time,it improves classroom efficiency,prepares for the success of the whole class,and lays a good foundation for the whole English teaching.Therefore,the quality of classroom Lead-in is the key to the success of a class.However,in the practical teaching,many English teachers focus their minds on knowledge,neglecting the interest in cultivating students’English learning and stimulating students’motivation to learn.The study will focus on the following questions:(1)what is the current situation of English classroom Lead-in in primary schools?(2)what are the problems in classroom Lead-in?what are the causes for the problems?(3)what measures should be taken to improve the Lead-in of English classes in primary schools?Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of primary school English classroom Lead-in,this paper believes that some primary school English teachers are not comprehensive and specific about the Lead-in of classrooms,and they do not reflect the subjective role of students in the teaching process.The time of Lead-in is too short.Based on the actual survey and data analysis,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions for primary school English teachers,thus further improving the teaching effect of teachers.In short,there are various methods of classroom Lead-in.So that English teachers should constantly improve their teaching skills,design wonderful and interesting classroom Lead-ins to arouse students’attention.Thus students could focus their minds on classroom learning,thereby improving their learning efficiency.
