The research area of this paper is Tangshan area, and the time span is from Xia to Western Zhou period.Tangshan is strategically located in the north,Yanshan, the east and the south to the Bohai Sea.It is located in the throat of the North China and Northeast Passages. It has always been a frequent exchange area between the Central China Huaxia and the Northeast Minorities.Investigating and understanding the ancient culture of the Xia Dynasty and the Western Zhou Dynasty in this area will help to study the political, economic and cultural links between the Central Plains region and the Northeastern minority.Judging from the results of previous surveys, such as the second national cultural relics survey and the third national cultural relics survey, the two surveys have a clearer geographical location of the ancient sites, but the common problem between the two is that the analysis of the age and cultural attributes is more general and rough, but it is a general introduction to the age issue, which is not specific and clear. In view of the problems of the second national cultural relics survey and the third national cultural relics survey, this paper firstly studies the three local cultures different from the Central Plains culture in the Tangshan region according to the research results of the predecessors, which is the Datuotou Culture, the Weifangsanqi Culture and the Zhangjiayuanshangceng Culture, and summed up the typical artifacts and characteristics of each culture. Then, based on the survey materials, systematic relics analysis was carried out on the sites of the Xiazhi and Western Zhou periods involved in the Tangshan area, and each site was characterized by culture and age. Then it summarizes the distribution characteristics of the sites in the three cultural periods, the distribution density of the sites and the area of the sites, and summarizes the characteristics of cultural relics in different periods, and points out a dynamic development process of the three in Tangshan. Finally, starting from the three cultural characteristics of the Tangshan area, from small to large,it rises to the overall dynamic development process of the three cultures. In addition,it can be concluded from the historical data that this place had an ancient country which is the Guzhu Country in the northern part of the Hebei province, and then explore some connection between these three cultures and the Guzhu country.
