Nowadays,city brand plays an increasingly important role in the development of modern cities.The brand benefits not only reflect the development of a city,but also is a microcosm of the local people's lives.In 2018 China City Conference,it launches “Top 100 Chinese Brands” at the first time,releasing the brands of the prefecture-level cities for the first time.The author choose this conference to do the report,applies on the theory of Skopos,and combines with the theme of the 2018 China City Conference to analyze the typical cases.The author expects that this interpretation can promote the development of the Chinese city brand to a large extent,especially the city brands for those prefecture-level cities.Besides,the author hopes that the characteristics of language and differences in historical and cultural background that mentioned in the report will play a positive role in other interpretation work in the future.In the process of this interpretation,the author met many cases with the interpretation of the ancient Chinese poetry and fixed collocations,increasing difficulties in the practice.Besides,due to solve the practical problems encountered in the interpretation,the author starts from the Skopos Theory,guides by the three principles of the Skopos Theory,and also combines with the reality of the 2018 China City Brand Conference to analysis different cases,to analysis the influence of the characteristics of language and culture as well as historical environmental conditions in the process of interpreting.
