Applied Research On Ji Jing's Epitaph And Its Calligraphy Creation

In the history of Chinese calligraphy,the epitaph of the Northern Dynasty was characterized by heavenly nature and lively and interesting artistic features.Its calligraphy maintained the primitive and simple body of the Central Plains and was in strict harmony.It was not only flexible and changeable,but also characterized by the stylistic features of the situation.At the same time,both gentle and cultivated,introverted and elegant artistic purport,which embodies the combination of the rugged and bold characteristics of northern art and the characteristic of elegance and implicature in the south bank area of the lower reaches of the Yangtze Rive,giving people a kind of artistic feeling of apparent ugly but actually beauty.Ji Jing'sepitaph is one of the epitaph of the Northern Dynasty.It is a fine work in the calligraphy of epitaph of the Eastern Wei Dynasty with smoothly wide junction figure,and its structure is broad,and it is both round and square.Ji Jing'sepitaph formed a connecting link between the preceding obliquely tight junction Wei-Stele and and the following regular script of the Sui and Tang dynasties.It is of great academic research and artistic aesthetic value.This article takes Ji Jing's Epitaph as the object of discussion and studies it in four parts.First of all,to review and explain the unearthed situation and text content of Ji Jing's Epitaph to determine its related cultural and historical values and significance.Then,to analyse the art of Ji Jing's Epitaph from three perspectives,they are point painting,knot and chapter.And we draw the conclusion that it has a high artistic value.Moreover,taking Ji Jing's Epitaph under the background of the times,and separately compared with Yuan Zhen's Epitaph,Zhang Heru'sEpitaph and L? Xiang's Epitaph from artistic aspect to clarify its status,style characteristics and artistic value more clearly in the development of the script.Finally,combined with its own calligraphy creation practice,this paper analyzes the concrete manifestation of the smoothly wide junction epitaph calligraphy in contemporary calligraphy creation with the perspective of the copying and the creation of Ji Jing's Epitaph.To sum up,we can draw the conclusion that it has the practical function and significance of enriching object,adjusting creative style and improving creative ability.
