The Enlightenment Of Duan Yiji's Epitaph To The Creation Of Modern Shu

From the perspective of the historical background and the evolution of calligraphy,this thesis analyzes the artistic feature embodied in Duan Siji Epitaph and how this feature is shaped so as to expound the characteristics of "Er Wang"(Calligraphers Wang Xizhi and Wang Xianzhi)and "Wei Di Tang Mian",discuss the artistic relationship between the characteristics and the style of the calligrapher like Chu Suiliang in the early Tang Dynasty in detail.Besides,the thesis combs and lucubrates the transformation of epitaph from the calligraphy of northern stele to the regular script of prosperous Tang Dynasty so as to scientifically get the enlightenment for the calligraphy creation of contemporary regular script from the artistic features of Duan Siji Epitaph.
