Urban character landscape is a kind of urban visual landscape which exists silently in the daily life of citizens but can not be ignored.They are generally signs,door signs,posters,and even graffiti.Dancing with streets and buildings,they condense the cultural and historical precipitation of the city and reflect the transformation of citizens' thoughts,aesthetics and needs.With the rapid development of urban visual image construction throughout the country,people begin to pay attention to the urban literary landscape is also an important part of influencing the urban visual image.The beautiful and distinctive urban literary landscape can bring a stronger sense of belonging to the citizens and attract tourists.The urban character landscape not only has the function,but also its decorative and aesthetic significance has been paid more and more attention.However,at present,the chaotic phenomenon of urban literary landscape emerges one after another,because of its application,aesthetics,management,concepts and other aspects.This paper combs the relationship among the urban character landscape,the urban visual image and the urban image.By enumerating the existing problems and crux of the urban character landscape,combining with the actual situation,this paper puts forward the aesthetic view of the character landscape with Rong as the core,makes aesthetic speculation on the three dimensions of "font","new and old","native ocean",and summarizes the characteristics of the ideal urban character landscape.And according to the actual visits,research,advanced experience at home and abroad for reference,summed up a set of design strategies for urban character landscape.Finally,the paper puts forward some ideas for the future urban literary landscape,and considers the qualities that designers need and how to improve themselves in this context.
