The Study On The Introduction Of Regional Culture Into Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

Language teaching and culture teaching are closely related to each other.Regional culture is an important part of the Chinese culture.The Regional culture is a window for foreign students to know about China.Not only can integrate regional cultural resources,bust also can construct a teaching mode with regional characteristics.Moreover,It can wide foreign student ’s breadth of cultural vision,improve understanding of local culture,help them adapt to the life,and enhance the effectiveness of Chinese teaching.Therefore,there is some certain practical significance in the study on integrating regional culture into Chinese teaching.This paper takes Shaanxi as an example to study the introduction of local culture into Chinese teaching.Firstly,this paper combs the relevant theories.secondly,it summarized the Shaanxi regional culture,the value and the significance of introducing it into Chinese teaching.Thirdly,Through the questionnaires and interviews from five universities in Shaanxi.The result shows that: Foreign students have a high interest in regional culture and have a low level knowledge.They hope to learn more about regional culture.But,the university generally do not pay much attention to the teaching of regional culture.The Chinese textbooks used by foreign students involve little knowledge regional culture.Many teachers lack of awareness on cultural introduction,lack of knowledge,use the single way and insufficient content of cultural introduction.These aspects still need to be improved.Finally,This paper puts forward the strategy of introduction Shaanxi regional culture into Chinese teaching.The first,The Universities should offer some courses of regional culture.The second,Compiling textbooks of regional culture.The third,This paper explores the contents,teaching principles,methods and Strategies of introducing regional culture.The Final,Universities should often carry out the cultural activities.The purpose of the study is to provide some ideas for the development of Chinese teaching in the context of Shaanxi regional culture.
