This paper attempts to sort out the development clues of rationalism from Zhang Xuecheng to Zhang Taiyan from the perspective of Confucian classics,through the rationalism direction of the final stage of Confucian classics development,and by comparing the phenomenon of "re-enchantment" in the interpretation of contemporary Confucian classics,to have a more comprehensive grasp of Confucian classics and the way of reading Confucian classics,with a view to avoiding re-enchantment as far as possible under the background of the revive.The deviation caused by reading classics in a re-enchantment way makes the revival of traditional culture develop in a more rational and healthy direction.There is a tendency of Reenchantment in the interpretation of contemporary Confucian classics.The tendency of Reenchantment is to interpret classics with sacred attitude instead of historical attitude,and to read classics with faith instead of rational reading.This paper explores Confucianism,Classics Reading Movement and Ritual Education.The concept of "All Six Classics are History" is a disenchantment paradigm in Confucian tradition.This paper tries to analyze and summarize its theoretical nature and characteristics,and give full exert to its explanatory effect in order to examine and correct the tendency of re-enchantment.Zhang Xuecheng's "Six Classics Are Historic" embodies his academic attitude of "seeking truth from facts",whose main purpose is toexamine classics in the course of history.Zhang Taiyan's thought of "Six Classics Are Historic" is an academic attitude of "seeking truth".Its main purpose is to re-evaluate traditional books from the perspective of objective research in modern academic fields.This article takes a "realistic" attitude towards the sanctification of the classics and a "truth-seeking" attitude towards the reading of the Confucian classics,with a view to revealing a healthy perspective of the development of Confucian classics.
