The Study Of Wu Cheng's Philosophical Thought

Song Dynasty and Ming Dynasty has an importance position and special influence in the history of ancient Chinese philosophy.The debate about Neo-Confucianism has continued for a few years.The thought of difference between Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan and its debate is a hot topic that a plenty of scholar pay attention to it.About this debate,Wu Cheng as an representative figure made a lot contribution to push the development of Neo-Confucianism.The Yuan Dynasty face the challenges of Mongolian nomadic culture.The Confucianism of Yuan Dynasty was not advance,compared with other Dynasty,but Yuan Dynasty also contribute a lot to the development of Neo-Confucianism.The thought of Yuan Dynasty about “put the idea of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan integrate” was the basic of Ming Dynasty's psychological.First,Wu Cheng learned about the prejudice of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan's students,then he came up with the opinion of “the teaching method of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan's is similar”,and draw a foundation conclusion about “put the idea of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan integrate”.Second,Wu Cheng analyzed the Lu Jiu Yuan's psychology,he thought that Lu Jiu Yuan's theory is the authentic Confucianism.Finally,Wu Cheng 's philosophical thought inspired several scholar such as Cheng Min Zheng and Wang Yang Ming.Because the book about Wu Cheng is so much,so I select the “Straw hut Wu's essence collection”,through the research of this book,to study Wu Cheng's philosophical thought.This paper is mainly three sections and in order to researching Wu Cheng's philosophical thought.In the introduction part,I introduce the reason of write this paper,and other people's research about Wu Cheng.In the first section,I introduce the life of Wu Cheng and his academic achievements briefly.In the second part,I analyze the Wu Cheng's thought of “put the idea of Zhu Xi and Lu Jiu Yuan integrate”.In the third section of this paper,I introduce the influence of Wu Cheng,including the influence to Ming Dynasty's psychology and Korea's Xing Li Xue.
