The Influence Of Dark Triad On Emotional Preference And Emotional Experience Of Vulnerable Groups

Nowadays,most people have a caring attitude towards vulnerable groups,which shows positive emotional preferences.However,some people often treat vulnerable groups with contempt,discrimination and even conflict behavior.Some studies have shown that the personality traits of dark triad usually have high antisocial and bullying characteristics.Therefore,this study suggests that dark triad may affect the group-based emotional preferences and group-based emotional experience of vulnerable groups.In this thesis,568 college students were selected as subjects of three studies.Questionnaires and situational experiments were used to explore how the dark triad affects the group-based emotional preferences and group-based emotional experiences of vulnerable groups.The results are as follows:(1)The negative group-based emotional preferences mediate the link between dark triad(total score of the dark triad,Machiavellianism and psychopathy)and negative group-based emotional experience.(2)The Event types moderate the mediation model that the negative group-based emotional preferences mediate the link between dark triad(total score of the dark triad,Machiavellianism and psychopathy)and negative group-based emotional experience.Under the condition of positive events,of negative group emotional preference is not significant in the relationship between total score of dark triad and some dimensions(Machiavellianism,psychosis)and negative emotional experience of the elderly;under the condition of negative events,the mediating effect is significant.(3)The Group goals moderate the mediation model that the negative group-based emotional preferences mediate the link between dark triad(total score of the dark triad,Machiavellianism and psychopathy)and negative group-based emotional experience.Under the condition of positive goal,the mediating effect of negative group emotional preference is significant in the total score of the dark triad and some dimensions(Machiavellianism,psychosis)and the negative emotional experience of the elderly group;Under the condition of negative goal,the mediating effect is significant.
