Collective action is always the important field in sociology and psychology. With the development of the Internet information technology, online collective action replaces the traditional collective action and becomes a new form on the network environment. The popularity and development of network, people can get information quickly, discuss actively and motivate their interaction greatly, but it also brings many negative news.Online collective action has not only influence on the network, but also has impacts in the real life. Therefore,it is of the great significance to study the development psychological mechanism of the online collective action. The study bases on the correlation studies and theories of previous collective action, and combines the network environment background. It depends on the network events, making “the modification of Wechat's membership system” as the materials background. The study adopts the method of questionnaire and situational experiment to research the effects of group identity and group-based angry on online collective action and the mediation of the incident contexts. There are 440 college students who use Wechat going to participate in the study. The study has two parts: Study 1: based on existed research, this study uses two-factor between-subject design to know the effects of group identity and group-based angry on online collective action;Study 2: this study uses three-factor between-subject design to know after increasing another variable-incident contexts, the effects of group identity and group-based angry on online collective action. The results indicate that :(1)Group identity and group-based angry are in positive relationship with online collective action;(2)Group-based angry can mediate the correlation between group identity and online collective action. The more participants have high group identity, the angrier they feel, and they have stronger online collective action;(3)Incident contexts can't predict online collective action. No matter the participants are in the instrumental incident context or non-instrumental incident context will not change the willing to online collectively act.;(4)The incident contexts can't impact the correlation between group-based angry and online collective action;(5)The incident contexts will impact the correlation between group identity and online collective action. In the instrumental incident context, the participants who have the high group identity will have stronger online collective action.(6)The incident contexts mediate the correlation between group-based angry and online collective action at different levels of group identity. In the instrumental incident context, group identity can't mediate the correlation between group-based angry and online collective action. No matter the participants in high or low group identity, who have high group-based angry will have stronger online collective action. In the non-instrumental incident context, group identity mediates the correlation between group-based angry and online collective action. When participants in the low group identity condition,group-based angry is more important to impact the online collective action. And when participants in the low group-based angry condition, group identity is more important to impact that.Besides, when the context is related to the participants' interests and can trigger their high group-based anger, the participants in the high group identity condition will have stronger online collective action.
