The Study Of Li Yu's Poems

For a long time,Li Yu's poems have been obscured by his other literary works with different styles.The artistic value as well as characteristics of Li Weng's poems have seldom been paid enough attention to or studied comprehensively and systematically.In this paper,through the interpretations and analyses of the poems in Li Weng's Poetry Collection as well as the poems in his fictions,Li Yu's artistic value of his poems were commented.Meanwhile,combining Li Yu's life,association and artistic viewpoints,the poetic proposition were summerized,which is also mutually corroborated with his works.So that we can give a relatively objective evaluation to Li Yu's poetic attainments.Finally a relatively accurate coordinate position was given in the poetry world at that time.This paper is divided into four chapters.According to each life stage of Li Yu's poetry creation,the first three chapters are set up in turn: The first chapter focuses on the poems of Li Yu's writen from his childhood to the Jiashen rebellion;The second chapter deals with Li Yu's works written from Jia Shen(as it were,thirty-three years old)to the age of forty(as it were,his initial migration to Hangzhou);And the third chapter deals with Li Yu's poems writen from his settlement in Hangzhou to his later years.The forth chapter deals with his works written after his change of writing style.The sections in every chapter is approximately set up according to the subjects,poetic features,life experiences and ideological changes.The artistic features and propositions in his other literary works with different styles are also mentioned so as to support my theses,which actually tries to present the overall styles and features of Li Yu's poems objectively and completely.In the end,I combine the assosiation in his life,the deliveries as well as responsories and gardening propositions to summerize and generalize his poetic aesthetics as well as propositions.Moreover,the emphases and differences between his poems and lyrics are also brought into comparisons and analyses.In the conclusive part Li Yu is given a place in the world of poetry.Moreover,Li Yu hasn't compiled his poetic remarks systematically until his death,and his poetic views were scattered in his other literary works.So in the appendix I compiled Li Weng's Poetic Remarks in order to fully present his poetic views and opinions.
