Study On Bronze Columned Wares Of Zhou Dynasty In Lingnan Area

Bronze columned wares were first discovered in Lingnan area in the 1960 s.Once they appeared,scholars had analyzed and discussed their shapes and functions.However,there is still a lack of systematic and comprehensive analysis of such ware,which leads to a partial understanding of the bronze columned ware.With the increase of unearthed materials of bronze columned wares in Lingnan area,it is necessary to sort out and analyze their shape,age and the excavated environment of these wares,which can help us to further understand these unique wares,and then to further understand the bronze culture of Lingnan area.This paper can be divided into five parts.Chapter 1: Introduction.In this part we will give a definition of the bronze columned wares in Lingnan area,and then we will discusses the reasons for choosing this topic,the research status of these wares and the way we study them.Chapter 2: Analysis and discussion about the shape and age of bronze columned wares.This part is based on the typological study of bronze columned wares,and then we will have an in-depth analysis of their shape.And we will also study the age of the wares unearthed in Lingnan area.All this work will lay the foundation for farther research work.Chapter ?: Analysis of the excavation enviroment of bronze columned wares.In this part we will analyze the geographic information of the area where the wares were unearthed,the shape of the unearthed site,the information of the co-unearthed objects,and the location and placement of the columned wares in the sites.Chapter ?: Discuss some problems related to the bronze columned wares,which are mainly about the source and function of the bronze cylindrical wares.And the try to understand some aspects of the bronze culture of Lingnan area through the study of the bronze columned wares.Chapter ?: Conclusion.In this part we will make a brief summary of the whole thesis and summarize the main achievements of this study.
