Research On The Creation Strategy Of Chinese Medical Documentary

Documentary is the epitome of social life showing real social reality and humanistic changes.As a product of a specific social era,medical documentaries can more clearly show the current anxious doctor-patient relationship and medical-media relationship.Based on the Chinese medical documentary,this paper sorts out the documentary work of medical subjects in China in recent years,and analyzes the background and causes of the medical documentary in China.At the same time,taking Life Matters,Margin of Life,The of Gates of Life,Emergency Room Story as representatives,this paper mainly studies the works of China's medical theme documentary during the prosperous period after 2013,and deeply analyzes the creative strategies of Chinese medical documentaries.Finally,by comparing the excellent foreign medical documentaries such as Boston Med and Pill Poppers in Horizon series with Why Do Viruses Kill?,and other works,this paper puts forward some suggestions for development on the existing problems of medical documentaries in China.This paper is divided into four chapters.Firstly,in the first chapter,the concept of medical documentary is defined,and the creation and development of Chinese and foreign medical documentary are sorted out.In the second chapter,it studies the creative strategies of Chinese medical documentaries from three aspects: theme selection,narrative characteristics and creative value.Qualitative analyses are carried out in combination with the representative medical documentaries in China.Among them,innovative research is made on the use of new media and storytelling expression in China's medical documentaries.The third chapter focuses on the limitations of the creation and dissemination of medical documentaries in China.In the fourth chapter,it analyses the creative characteristics of foreign excellent medical documentaries and the actual creative situation in China,and summarizes the creative strategies of medical documentaries with reference.Finally,it will be a deep discussion on how to create and tell sensitive medical stories when objectively recording medical events,and including whether this objective record form and creation mode can enhance its social value and etc.The author intends to reflect on the current situation of the creation and development of such medical documentaries,and to provide some useful theoretical support for its future development by analyzing the creative strategies of the existing medical documentaries in China.
