Interpretation And Expression Of Intangible Cultural Heritage In Museums

The concept of Intangible Culture Heritage was proposed by Japan in Mid-20th Century.After several decades' word discrimination and discussion about its connotation,its value identification has been widely approved by the world.Intangible Culture Heritage can be understood as a dynamic process or a phenomenon that boasts certain spiritual and cultural value produced in human interaction.Intangible Culture Heritage mainly has the following characteristics:spiritual and cultural features,living state,dynamism and locality,all of which interpret the condition of formation and connotation structure of Intangible Culture Heritage.The historical development of museum is a process of constantly seeking for identity and value proposition.Simultaneously,museum itself has continuously adopted Intangible Culture Heritage with an inclusive and optimistic attitude and focuses on the spiritual and cultural attribute contained in Intangible Culture Heritage,endeavoring to retain the dynamic process of Intangible Culture Heritage through diversified ways of interpretation.Besides,Intangible Culture Heritage possesses the factor of time and is closely related to human activities.Museum,as the carrier of Intangible Culture Heritage,should be reasonably interpreted from the dimension of authenticity and construct relevant social memory hidden in the Intangible Culture Heritage.Starting from the interpretation of museum and culture heritage,the paper analyses problems and challenges proposed by Intangible Culture Heritage as well as the strategy of interpretation of Intangible Culture Heritage that should be observed in the condition of museum.Simultaneously,it discusses the construction of the interpreting system of"Intangible Culture Heritage" and concludes specific means and details of the interpretation of Intangible Culture Heritage from three different dimensions:circumstance,display design and extended activities of museum.By doing these,it aims at relevant dilemma faced with Intangible Culture Heritage in exhibition of museum.
