The I Ching explains the direction of situational transformation, that is,what kind of future situation will be brought by a certain choice made by the subject in an initial situation.Situation Archetype is the knowledge of the direction of situational transformation in a certain situation. In theory, the I Ching conforms to the definition of the Situation Archetype. In fact,a study is still needed to provide evidence. This study explores the situational transformation of six typical situations of Qian(the Khien Hexagram)in the I Ching and whether they belong to the Situation Archetype.Six typical situations of Qian were compiled into Imagery Communication Psychotherapy's instructions.A total of 162 subjects were tested to obtain the text of imagery communication stories. This study used the Grounded Theory Approach and chi-square test to analyze the text,so as to obtain the direction of situation transformation in the imagery communication stories. If the subjects' imagery communication stories have obvious commonalities, they can get six typical situations of Qian to change the direction of the situation, which shows that the Situation Archetype exists. If the direction of Situation Archetype in imagery communication stories is matched with the direction of Qian transformation provided by the I Ching,it will be more in line with the concept of Situation Archetype and provide evidence that Qian belongs to Situation Archetype, otherwise it cannot. The results show that there are obvious commonalities in imagery stories, and the direction of situation transformation is consistent with that provided by the I Ching. In their own weak situation(in the first NINE),if the subject chooses to recuperate,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;if the subject chooses to use his own power,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked. At the beginning of the situation(in the second NINE),if the subject can get enough positive attention,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;if the subject cannot get enough good attention,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked. In the situation of latent crisis(in the third NINE),if the subject chooses conservative strategy,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;if he chooses the choice of risk-taking strategy,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked. In the context of responsibility and value creation(in the fourth NINE),the subject chooses to seize opportunities and try more,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;if he don't chooses the opportunities and try more,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked.Under the circumstances of obtaining the opportunity to make great progress(in the fifth NINE),if the subject chooses to actively develop his ability,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;if he chooses to not actively develop his ability,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked. In the situation of entering the recession period(in the sixth NiNE),the subject chooses to retire after completing the social task, and chooses the way of life that is not progressive,he will easily enter into a stage of continuous development;the subject chooses to continue the positive way of progress in society,he will enter into a stage where development is blocked. On this basis, this study further elucidates the psychological significance behind the direction of situational transformation...
