Hidden Narration

The art has gradually ceased to belong to a specific narrative art history,so the theory of “the end of art” has gradually been known since the 1960 s,which is closely related to the change of the way and purpose of artistic creation.To be more specific,art works no longer emphasize the artist's own production,and beauty is no longer the only purpose and standard of art works.The related art works are more comprehensive and emphasize the internal logical relations,which dubbed “contemporary art”.Compared with traditional Easel Art,installation,the most representative way of creation in contemporary art,emphasizes that various elements of the work unfold in space and constitute the narration.Meanwhile,this kind of narration is different from the language works and is still constituted in the unique formal way of the art works.By analyzing the composition and development of this narration and the comprehension of space and text in contemporary art exhibitions and art works,this paper clarifies a series of specific problems and put forward a reasonable method to understand contemporary art as a hidden narration.
